A quiet harbour for difficult moments
What we are here for
A q u i e t p l a c e f o r d i f f i c u l t d a y s
To start
de-press is a space for emotional support built on the principles of privacy and consent. It is a place where you can say what is hard to say elsewhere, without having to perform for an audience or play a familiar social role.
What does that mean?
A story doesn't need a score. A person doesn't need an audience. Sometimes it's enough to simply speak up anonymously, write what you feel, and be heard. Nobody forces conversation on you — it is always your choice.
Sometimes the problem lives in the familiar language of social media: likes, reposts, public reactions, other people's approval, and the effort to play a role instead of being yourself.
So this place is deliberately quieter: fewer notifications and signals, less noise, but more room to simply be heard.

What we choose to protect

This project grew out of a personal need for a safe space.
To start
We will build a quiet, calm place where anyone can be heard and understood.
How it works
You come with your story and choose for yourself whom to talk to and when. You don't have to answer when things are hard, but you can be heard.
If you want, you can simply write how you feel and be heard without judgment.
What you share, how much you share and whether you want a conversation are your decisions.
